Could you walk me through your career path, starting with your experiences in college? Did you have any internships or jobs before your current role?

Absolutely. I went to Northeastern University, known for its great co-op program. This gave me the chance to explore different types of experiences while in college. I completed three six-month co-ops, working full-time every other semester.

I was a psychology major, so I wanted to explore different areas. My first real internship was in a psychology research lab. This was very different from what I do now, but it gave me skills in organization, communication, and time management. It also made me realize I was looking for something more fast-paced.

That's what drew me to business. My next two co-ops were in HR, focused on learning and development. I also completed a recruiting internship. This was the baseline of the different paths I was considering in college.

When I started looking at post-grad opportunities, I realized I really liked the people-oriented nature of a recruiting role. I enjoyed communicating with different people throughout the day. I felt like I was making an impact in those past recruiting roles. That's what led me to recruiting.

After graduation, I started with a startup as a recruiting coordinator, doing scheduling work. From there, I found my path into campus recruiting, which I've really enjoyed so far.
