What are your main responsibilities within your current role?

I work across two platforms: Salesforce and Pardot, also known as Marketing Cloud Account Engagement. Pardot is another Salesforce product.

Salesforce is a customer relationship management platform. Nonprofits use it to track donors and fundraising, among other things. Corporations use it to track customers and sales.

It's really flexible, and you can make of it what you want. Across those two platforms, I work with our communications and fundraising teams to find pain points across the organization. Then, I look for ways we can use technology to solve those problems.

I spend my time managing our backlog of requests. A backlog is, in simple terms, a list of issues or requests that need to be done. We prioritize them and work on them from highest to least priority.

I also help design and build automated solutions. I support the creation and execution of emails in Pardot.

Working with our Salesforce administrator and Pardot administrator, we solve problems. At the end of the day, this helps us raise more money to fund our mission to protect the world's wildcats.
