What are your main responsibilities within your role as a Korean college specialist?
I can divide this job into three main roles. One is the communication portion, which involves creating the website and ensuring the resources on it are current and relevant. It also includes managing social media handles, like Facebook and Instagram, and sharing information through them. Additionally, I create a newsletter every month.
The other part of my job is advisement. I talk to students from all grade levels, including eighth graders, but most of my work is with seniors. I help them with college applications, financial aid, and college essays.
Another portion of my job is to help students with early college credits. That involves the BBC application, as we have enrollment classes here, and I work with them on that.
