What does a day in the life of a client services director look like?
That's a great question, because it never looks the same, and that's exactly what I would have always wanted. My worst fear was to be trapped in a cubicle doing things that I felt were boring and not making a difference in the world. I just didn't want to have that Groundhog Day experience.
So, my day every day looks a little bit different. One morning I could be at a government relations committee meeting, and then in the afternoon, I might run over to our client, Feeding the Foothills, and meet a BC 10 there for a live shot.
Then I may come back to the office for a brainstorming campaign session and end the day with a client Zoom meeting. It can be kind of across the board, and I love that.
It gets me out into the field where I get to actually develop those relationships, but then I also have time to come back to my office and be productive. I develop deliverables and send them off to our clients, but then I can actually go out into the field and watch those deliverables at work. So it's a little bit different every day, and I love that.
