What do you enjoy most about being in your industry?
Originally, working for Make-A-Wish in America, I always felt like I was helping people. When I joined the luxury hospitality industry, I wondered how I would help people there. They don't seem to need help.
You'd be surprised how much of an impact just a smile can have on someone, or the ability to create personal connections. That's where the real help comes in.
I would say the best part is the opportunity to experience so many different cultures from all over the world. I probably wouldn't have been exposed to these if I had stayed in one industry.
