What does a day in the life of an account manager look like?
My main responsibility is very similar to this. No two days are exactly the same. It can ebb and flow depending on what clients need and what's going on.
This past week has been super busy monitoring news because of everything happening in the world. Generally, my responsibilities include communicating with clients, ensuring they have all the reporting they need, and answering any questions their executives might ask.
I also work with other departments to get media booked and optimized, making sure all the data is good and billing goes out. Developing and implementing media strategies ties into booking and optimization.
As mentioned, I spend a good amount of my time doing research and learning about new opportunities for client growth, like new stations or shows that we could test.
