What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?

That's a great question. I really enjoy innovation. When I started in this role, I was able to create my own department and begin with a blank slate.

For me, there are no two days that are the same because I'm constantly in creation mode. What works for one HR department might not work here, and vice versa. I'm loving the opportunity to innovate on what this department can look like.

I also have to mention our leadership team. As an HR leader, I've worked with both good and not-so-great leaders. I was genuinely impressed by the leadership team here at our firm, and I think that's crucial.

That's a big reason why I love this role: I'm so bought into our leader's vision. This allows me to execute with excitement, envisioning what human resources and the organization can be. Those are the two main aspects for me – the ability to innovate and to support a fantastic leader.
