What is one lesson that you have learned that has proven significant in your career?

Having a good boss is critical in your career. The one thing I really encourage people to do is to make sure that when they are interviewing for a role or a new job, it's important that you, as the interviewer or interviewee, are interviewing your potential boss.

You have to make sure that person meshes with you as much as you mesh with them. That is going to be the person you learn from.

It's critical that you find somebody who is good for you and your style. So I highly recommend that people interview their bosses as well when they're going through an interview process.
