What are your main responsibilities within your current role?

As the project manager in manufacturing, my role is actually very similar to what I do in e-commerce. The most important things are timelines and deadlines. Based on the timeline, we break down different aspects of the project.

In my current role, I interact with outside workers, suppliers, and vendors. I also keep track of the schedule for daily processes.

I want to share a bit more about the manufacturing industry, specifically semiconductors. There are many regulations regarding how a fab is built and how workers should dress and present themselves. My role includes ensuring that all the workers I manage comply with these regulations.

I am currently managing about 50 workers, broken into different groups. My background in understanding both Chinese and English has helped me bridge cultural differences and ensure the project stays on time. I also work to remove any obstacles that might arise along the way.
