As someone who identifies as part of the LGBTQ community, how has that impacted how you've navigated your career?
As someone who is queer, I've found that higher education is a really welcoming environment. Many universities have faculty and staff organizations that bring different underrepresented faculty and staff together.
Lehigh has a Faculty Staff Pride Network, and that has been where I've met a lot of my friends and made connections across the university. I'm really glad they have that opportunity.
