What is one lesson that you have learned that has proven significant in your career?
I think something I've learned is to stay true to the value of the work you're putting out. If you truly believe you're an amazing employee, and you do an amazing job at your job, you should hold yourself to that standard every day.
There are going to be days where you inevitably feel underappreciated. The day is super long and hard, with a million things and a million fires happening. It's so tempting to just do the bare minimum, especially when you work from home.
But you don't want to get to your review at the end of the year and claim you were such an amazing employee when you think, "I guess a couple days here and there, I could have done more."
Holding yourself to that standard is important if you really want to move up and be successful. Push yourself every day. Don't push yourself too far; if you need to take a break, it's okay. But push yourself to do the greatest job you possibly can.
