What skills are most important for a job like yours?
For my job, the most important skills would be leadership. When you're coming from the top, you need to ensure everyone is doing the right thing and that you are on top of things.
You also need to empower people to make decisions because I can't be talking to everyone and making every single decision. I don't have that kind of time.
So, it's trust, patience, and leadership. I think there's a natural ability to it with the confidence to just get things done. You need that confidence that you are going to succeed, and show people from top to bottom that you will succeed.
You must be confident in the company. You also have to have people skills. Make sure everyone likes you and wants to work with you. Ensure they feel happy in their role and always check in with them.
