What did you do in undergrad to set you up for success in your career?
First of all, I studied and did the work. I was a nerd in college, so that was my priority. I graduated with honors, which was very helpful when I was starting my career.
But I also expanded my network and made friends outside of my major. In fact, my closest friends from college are civil engineering majors. They're friends I met through Ultimate Frisbee.
Having them broaden not just my network, but also my understanding of people and teams, really came in handy when I went into this construction management role.
