What have you learned about this role that you wish someone had told you before you entered the industry?
Specifically for merchandise, I would have loved to learn how to plan and budget around retail. I would have also liked to understand how to procure and produce designs.
Understanding the fulfillment aspect is also important. This includes knowing where to get the merchandise and how it will get to the customer.
There's a lot I would have loved to gain more experience in prior to this role. However, I enjoy learning on the job.
There are many individuals who are great mentors and willing to help me learn. They keep me engaged and up to date.
