**Q10: Entry-level positions**
What entry-level positions in this field might an undergraduate college student consider? Most design studios, VFX studios, and even tech companies offer internships.
This is perfect because when I worked with interns, they became part of the team. They were thrown right into big projects that people normally wouldn't have access to or the opportunity to learn and experience.
Suddenly, you're working on a commercial or a launch for Xbox, for E3 – a huge project with likely a million-dollar budget. You're able to be a part of it, working next to professional artists.
You learn about their roles, where they came from, and what a day in the life of an artist is like. That's definitely a great start.
There are also junior animator or junior designer roles that pop up. However, I think a lot of that typically comes after school when people are ready to work full-time.
