What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
The two biggest things are autonomy and the trust that comes with it. It's unusual, having been employed under a university system, but also being in the UT setting, University of Texas.
It was amazing to have so much ability to do what I want as it pertained to the success of students. My supervisors would say, "I trust you. You got this. You're essentially rolling." They'd just ask me to touch base and give updates.
I would say just the autonomy and the trust that came with it. This also relates to health and wellness coaching because I can specialize in whatever area I want. It's amazing to trust myself in that process and also be trusted by others.
