What are your main responsibilities as a lead financial advisor?
My two main responsibilities right now are assisting with business development and servicing clients. Business development basically means sales.
On that end, I try to convince new or prospective clients to work with our company. The other, and arguably main, part of my job is servicing those clients.
I look at each client's current financial situation and talk to them about their future goals. Then, I help them develop a plan.
This plan uses their invested assets and considers other aspects of their financial lives, such as estate planning, insurance, and taxes. My aim is to figure out the best approach to maximize the probability that they'll achieve all their goals.
