What does a day in the life of a lead financial advisor really look like?
That's a good question. First, I check my emails and address the most time-sensitive things. This often includes client trades or urgent client concerns about their life or the market.
After that, I might have review meetings with existing clients or initial meetings with new ones. I also handle servicing issues.
For example, after every meeting, we identify action items. I might review a client's estate plan to see if it needs updating or provide recommendations. I also review insurance policies and give feedback.
I help clients look into different quotes for various things. My company doesn't actually sell insurance, which I really like. We're structured to provide unbiased recommendations.
That's something to look for if you're interested in this career, as not all firms operate that way. It's a lot of different things I can be doing for clients daily, which I really enjoy.
