What is your biggest challenge in your current role?
The challenges are a natural flip side to the benefits. While I love the freedom and autonomy, it comes with the challenge of inconsistency in my workflow and income.
For example, I don't have paid maternity leave, so when I don't work, I don't make money. There's also a cap on my time.
I can only work so many hours, and if I'm paid hourly or for a project fee, I can only scale so much. I'm trying to figure out other revenue streams and ways to scale that don't require me to work more hours.
This is the biggest challenge for freelancers or solo entrepreneurs, as we're really selling our time.
