What are your main responsibilities within your current role?
I actually have two parts in my role. The first part is working with students.
That's the part I never want to let go. It's the reason I started this job in the first place. If you want to go into education, your passion and heart have to be in wanting to support students from all walks of life.
I work with students on their entire journey through high school. This includes course scheduling, extracurricular activities, and finding majors or careers. I also help with college applications and everything that comes with that process.
The other part of my role, which I've learned to love, is helping employees. I support employee recruitment, training, and finding professional development opportunities. I also work on partnerships with other organizations and school districts.
