Transcript
What did you do in undergrad that set you up for success in your career?
I was very involved as an undergraduate student. I wasn't sure if I wanted to be an educator, but I wanted to explore other options.
So, I took time to explore different areas that might interest me, and then I started becoming involved in the field. Any opportunity related to education, I took it.
I also took electives in educational law or anything I could connect to my undergraduate degrees, which are in sociology and political science, not education. But all of that prepared me to become an educator. It gives me experience and makes me a little more marketable.
