Q8: Who thrives in the industry?

To thrive as a UX designer, you need to be really curious. Be curious about how people think and go about moving through technology, but also curious about how things work.

Additionally, have a curiosity for how things could be better. This includes a willingness to constantly learn.

The software tool we specifically use is Figma. It's a technical tool that is also ever-changing, so learning new ways to prototype or build components is essential. No one will ever be an expert; you just have to continuously improve.

Another key trait is being open to feedback. A designer's job is to present designs and ask what could be improved. Having the skill to take feedback without taking it personally is super important for building a better product.

Communication is also vital. You need to be able to express why you came up with certain design solutions in a format understandable to different people, including a CEO. These are the key elements that help someone thrive.
