Could you walk me through your YouTube experience, starting with your time in college? Please include any internships or jobs you had before your current role.

My career path has been a little bit non-traditional, and that's what I love the most about it as a creative director. There isn't really a set path you study in school to become one.

It's about following passion. So, in my undergrad studies at the University of Michigan, I was in the business school. There was not a clear, direct path for marketing or creative.

I did as much study and learning as I could in classes like marketing, intro to advertising, and intro to consumer behavior. I developed and honed those passions and skills until I got into the world of consulting at EY.

The role of creative director didn't exist when I quote unquote gave it to myself. I decided that if I was going to swim against the current, I would do it as effectively and with as much gusto as possible. I started to define what I wanted in my role and career.

I'm lucky that I found support within an organization, married with my passion, that allowed me to do that.
