What is your biggest challenge in your current role?

The biggest challenge is probably being organized and then thinking about time. As a project manager, you don't just have one project; you have a bunch of different projects. There's no one breathing down your neck asking you how you're doing all the time.

So, you really have to stay organized. You need to keep track of which programs you've touched and what's going on. This is so you're prepared when somebody asks you a question, whether it's Finance, Procurement, or Management.

It's about being organized and then keeping other people organized as well. This means handing out schedules that people can work to, schedules that work. It also involves mitigating issues ahead of time.

This is where you have to think about the future. You want to avoid things you didn't anticipate messing you up. So, be organized, keep others organized, and learn from many different people.

There's a lot to learn, and you can't learn it all. It's important to understand that you don't necessarily need to know everything, but you need to know who knows the answer. You may not need to know the answer yourself, but you need to know who does.
