What is one lesson that you have learned that has proven significant in your career?
The main advice is to always be humble. You will find yourself in situations where you're supposed to be a leader, but have no idea what you're doing.
Often, people who fail first and fastest, and never recover, are those who lack a sense of humility about leadership and learning new things. Having the ability to apply those new things is crucial, but you can't apply them if you can't learn them first.
A healthy sense of humility often gets you through difficult times. Knowing you have to learn, work hard, and prove yourself, and that nothing is given to you, are major traits that lead to long-term success.
