What is one lesson you have learned that has proven to be successful in your career?
I received some really challenging, but very good advice a few months ago in my career. I was part of a project team, and things were going okay, but not great.
I was told that to take the next step up in my career, I needed to "flip a switch" in my brain. There isn't always a process for making change.
Sometimes it's as simple as snapping your fingers, changing your mindset, buckling down, and getting it done. For me, this meant enhancing the ownership of the work I do daily.
That was incredibly valuable advice. It was challenging to hear at the time, but in hindsight, it has been incredibly beneficial to my career.
