What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
There are two things I enjoy the most. The first is understanding how our world works. That might sound cheesy and broad, but it's true.
For example, in my constitutional law class, we discussed the Voting Rights Act. We learned who it applies to, what Congress can enact, and its limitations. It's so important and pertinent to our lives if we are voters. I think that's really cool.
Then, I realized that many societal issues and injustices can be remedied with the law. However, many are also created by the law. Having the tools and language to begin remedying these injustices is so cool. I feel incredibly thankful to be able to learn that.
My second thing is the people I've met. My classmates are doing such different, amazing things and are interested in so many topics, some of which I didn't know existed. I feel like I've learned so much from them. I've also had wonderful professors, really amazing women I've looked up to and been mentored by. Experiencing that type of leadership and learning from others is inspirational for me.
