Significant Career Lesson From A Partner At A Consulting Company
A significant career lesson Iñigo learned from a former partner was the importance of "finishing things," even if it means sacrificing some perfection for completion. This involved prioritizing closure on tasks, building momentum by moving on to the next project, and recognizing the value in "just close, close, finish, finish."

What is one lesson that you have learned that has proven significant in your career?
I might share something I learned from a partner I had at a consulting company. I was a very junior person, just out of college, and there was this guy in the office.
He was a very young partner, and one thing I learned from him was the importance of being people-oriented. "People go first," and all those things make sense.
But in terms of one thing I picked up from him that stuck with me is the capacity for just finishing things. I know it sounds obvious, but don't have too many things open at the same time.
Being able to finish things, maybe not always at the highest quality ever, is valuable. Closing out projects and moving on to the next is important.
