What do you enjoy most about being in your industry?

I have to say, the people. I've had the privilege of working with a lot of very smart, very interesting people. It's interesting to go back to one of the previous questions where you constantly have to learn and ask questions.

For the most part, everybody's very happy to share their knowledge. Everybody's very helpful, and there's a lot of willingness to teach. It's been great to form some professional relationships and learn a lot from certain people.

Even some of the instructors I've had like to maintain contact because they're industry experts. You can email them and say, "Hey, I've got a question about X, Y, Z," and they'll respond, "Oh yeah, it's this," or "Hey, that's a great question. Gimme a week, I'll research it and come back to you."

So it's definitely the people, especially in OT where it's a kind of a new frontier. You have IT folks, and OT folks, and somewhere in the middle are analysts who've done both for a little while.

Both sides want to teach. And then me getting the opportunity to also teach and mentor has also been a privilege. So it's mostly about the people. That's what I really enjoy.
