What does a day in the life of the head of global SDR look like?

It is different every day, which is part of the fun and part of the terror of it all. Today I had a 7:30 meeting with Europe.

Then we had a big leadership meeting where we discuss priorities we want to roll out due to some problems we are experiencing. After that, we had a giant enablement session where I lead a couple of presentations and try to teach people some things.

We then had a forecast call with all the CFOs and CROs. We shared what we are going to bring across the line from a business perspective so we can plan for resource allocation over the next 90 to 180 days.

Next, I had a deal review. I sat with an individual sales rep and we unpacked a deal they are working on, trying to figure out how to get it across the line.

I also had a couple of one-on-ones and a couple of interviews. So, it's a little bit of everything. This includes customers, recruiting, management meetings, one-on-ones, and initiatives, whether rolling them out or building them.

Then there's tons of typing on my computer. I don't know if you've heard of Slack; it's kind of the standard these days. I feel like I'm a Slack monkey most days while trying to show up well in whatever meeting I have. Every day is a little different.
