What have you learned about this role that you wish someone had told you before you entered the industry?
I wish people would have shared that. It's definitely a journey, a path. You can't know it all right away; experience is a good thing.
I wish I had been a little more proactive about finding and engaging mentors. While I did have some great mentors, I definitely would have expanded my network more.
I think I can continue to learn from other people. I would encourage everyone to put your ego aside and just go out and ask questions.
If you're naturally curious, you'll find really good insights and wisdom from other people, regardless of their age or experience level. So, just try to be as curious as possible, and you'll be surprised at what you can learn and how you can grow.
