What skills are most important for a job like yours?

In the sales world, I would say communication is very important. When I say communication, it's not just being able to talk; more importantly, it's actually being able to listen and understand what people are saying. Try to get them to open up to you as well.

Outside of that, organization is really important, especially when you're working multiple deals and with multiple customers. It's easy to have things slip through the cracks and forget what's going on. Being able to organize your day-to-day is quite important.

Lastly, the ability to learn quickly is pretty important too. In sales, you're essentially the face of the company. As new products come out, as new solutions come out, you don't have to be the number one expert on it, but you do have to be able to pick things up quickly and deliver the messaging to whoever you're working with.
