What did you do in undergrad to set you up for success in your career?

There are a few things. I went to college to study economics, and while I'm not an economist by any means, I definitely think understanding the fundamentals of economics has really helped me understand what drives behavior. Learning some of the technical concepts has helped me pick up other technical concepts that I need for my career.

It has also helped shape the way I think about the world through economics. Outside of that, I would say getting involved in student organizations and being part of a fraternity, all that stuff, and taking on leadership positions, have really helped me gain social skills and confidence, which is pretty important in my role now.

Lastly, while a lot of the internships I had in college weren't necessarily related to the role I have today, they did help set me up to get my first job out of college. That then helped me get my second job out of college, and now I'm in my third role here, working in tech sales.
