What skills are most important for a job like yours?
The two most important aspects are communication and teamwork. Without your other teams and the ability to identify what needs to be done in a timely manner, you won't have a project. It's a group of teams and people coming together to work for one common goal.
That goal is to provide housing. The last thing I would say is patience. When you sign up a deal or a project, it might take two to five to ten years for homes to be built.
Other times, you will speak with a landowner and they won't be ready to sell. You have to keep getting your name in front of them and see what you can do for them. Hopefully, at some point, the relationship will pay off, and you'll be able to work with them in whatever way they need help.
