Biggest Challenges Faced by an Accounting and Human Resources Assistant at Paws Plumbing
Hannah's biggest challenge at Paws Plumbing stems from communication difficulties between the office and field workers, especially when "it's difficult to get responses back when needed in a timely manner" due to the company's structure; this challenge extends to training new employees, as it requires adapting teaching methods to "how other people learn best" to ensure their success.

What is your biggest challenge in your role?
What is your biggest challenge in your role?
I think sometimes the communication can be difficult. Since it is a small company, a lot of our employees are in the field rather than in the office. So, it's sometimes difficult to get responses back when needed in a timely manner.
Communication is not always the strongest between the office and the field workers. This makes things difficult, and it's about learning how to communicate properly with people and understanding how they best learn and communicate.
Similarly, it's also been a learning experience to understand how other people learn best. I've assisted with training people in the company, and not everybody learns the same way. It's been a great experience to learn how others learn and how best to teach them to ensure they are successful in their role.
