What is one lesson that you've learned that's proven significant in your career?
I'd say the biggest lesson I've learned is to kill people with kindness. I've learned that sometimes people just want to be mean, and at the same time, you have to stick up for yourself.
But if you can continue to be nice to them and not be aggressive back, that will help you in the long run. It especially helps in getting on people's good side and making them respect you.
Another lesson I've learned, which I really like, is that everyone's problems are important. They do affect the business, even if they might seem insignificant to you.
So, figuring out how that problem fits into your long-term goals and how to address them as part of a larger initiative is key. When everyone's voice feels heard, I think that's really important.
