Often, when facilitating learning and development, you only spend a short time with participants. They spend much more time with their own teams and leaders. This is why building relationships is so important.
When people see you as an advocate for yourself and your content, it really helps in the long run. I've had people ask me to talk to customers about onboarding because they remember a great experience. This isn't just about doing my job; it's about building relationships across the company.
