Perhaps some people in leadership aren't as familiar with the system, so you have to explain things concisely. You need to convey every important detail. It's important to learn how to teach.

The other important thing is data analysis. This can be as simple as being good at Excel, exploring and understanding data. It also involves working with data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI.

You need to know how to work with data, even if you're not an expert in Python and SQL. It's crucial to be able to visualize data and extract stories from it. For example, I would look at our spending in an area and build a story around it.
