What did you do in undergrad that helped set you up for success in your career?
I was an environmental engineering major, and I think that helped me develop an analytical, project management mindset. This has helped me excel today, which comes from formal teaching and understanding how to solve complex problems.
Another thing that was really helpful in undergrad was saying "yes" to a lot of opportunities. There came a point where I knew I wanted to pursue marketing over engineering. I took a full-time job with Red Bull because I was a student brand manager in college.
To prepare for that role, I joined the marketing and advertising club and volunteered in other clubs. I sought out executive-level management positions to demonstrate management experience on my resume. This helped me build my portfolio and save things I could speak to in an interview.
