Significant Career Lesson from a Senior Specialist Member Experience at Tinder
Gabrielle's most significant career lesson centers on the importance of self-advocacy, "being able to tell your manager...what you enjoy...and what you're good at." This includes knowing when to leave a situation where "the hours and the way employees were treated was just not what you wanted," prioritizing one's well-being and career path.

What is one lesson you have learned that has proven significant in your career?
The one lesson I would emphasize is to stand up for yourself. This can involve telling your manager what you enjoy, what you like working on, and what you're good at. Being able to vocalize that often is really important.
It took me a while to gain the confidence to say those things. It also means being able to stand up for yourself when something isn't worth it anymore. I've had jobs where the hours and the way employees were treated were not acceptable.
It's important to know that you can speak up and choose what's right for you. I think this will really help you figure out the path for your career.
