Could you walk me through your career path? Please start with your experiences in college, any internships, or jobs you've had before your current role.

Absolutely. I came to the United States about six months before my freshman year of college, not knowing any English. So when I came here, it was kind of like a leap of faith, and my goal was to get accepted to State University.

I took intensive English classes, watched TV, and listened to music in English to be able to pass my admission test. My college experience was very unique in that way. I think I worked 10 times harder than my peers to complete assignments because I always had high expectations for my achievements and grades.

My freshman year, I didn't have any jobs; I was focusing on understanding the classes, passing them, and getting all the As I could. But for my second semester, I started working jobs at ASU. Because of my grades in my first semester, I was reached out to be a tutor. I think it was a math tutor, and then I later became a TA in biology.

I also became a supplemental instructor for microeconomics, teaching about 200 students every week and helping them pass the class or study for exams. That was definitely a little out of my comfort zone. This role not only helped me develop my public speaking skills but also paid for my education.

In my junior year, I landed my first internship in marketing here in Arizona. That's what sparked my passion for the industry. Right before graduation, I secured my full-time job at one of the best marketing firms here in Arizona. That's what made my transition to the real world.
