How would you describe people who typically thrive in this industry?
I mentioned empathy earlier, and I think it's a huge one. Collaboration is a large word for people. It really means not thinking you're the biggest brain in the room, or that you're completely right about everything.
It's not about thinking your way is the only way, or that you're the expert coming in to do things. At the end of the day, your attitude should be one of curiosity.
You have to be adaptable and resilient in this industry. It's not like the medical industry, but it is a tough industry. If the internet goes down in a hospital, that's very bad, as they are reliant on us.
So, being able to work through any kind of ambiguity and under pressure is really key.
