What does a day in the life of a senior consultant look like?
I'm currently a remote worker, so I work from home. I usually get up around 8:00 AM and start my day with tea and breakfast. Then I begin reviewing my agenda.
First, I typically meet with my team. As a senior consultant, I oversee consultants and analysts, so I like to know what they're working on and ensure we have a plan for the day. I review our plan with them and then relay it to my management.
After that, I spend most of the day meeting with clients. We discuss their needs, anticipate future issues, and review project timelines.
Then, I focus on the details, like risk management plans. I also start drafting proposals for potential future projects or items the client might need.
I usually end the day with a status report for everyone to review our progress.
