How do you describe people who typically thrive in this industry?
Historically, people in this industry have given a lot of themselves to their work. While that's still true and not necessarily a bad thing, there's a shift in how leaders support educators.
We don't want teachers to give everything to their students at their own expense. We're moving towards a part of teaching in this country where being mindful of students' success and well-being is entirely dependent on our teachers' success and well-being.
