What skills are most important for a job like yours?
I would say the number one skill for this type of role is communication. I would say communication and problem-solving are probably the two biggest skills.
For communication, it's all about really honing in on what the outcome of a particular project or type of role needs to be. It's about getting on the same page as the stakeholders.
Stakeholders are essentially anyone who has a vested interest in how the project or problem gets solved. That's basically the people you're working with, the client. Understanding what they need – like X, Y, Z, what deliverables are needed at the end of a project – will help you in carving a path to get there.
