What are your main responsibilities within your current role?
In my current role for product marketing, there are two major responsibilities. One is thinking about the internal piece, which involves understanding and researching the customer.
The goal is to advocate for the customer so that when we build out the product with product management, we truly understand how our product solves customer pain points. This includes customer interviews, research on value propositions, and consumer insights research, similar to my consulting background from Adobe.
The other responsibility is the external piece, which is more about go-to-market launches. This focuses on how we acquire customers and keep them engaged, essentially the traditional work of running different campaigns.
