What is one lesson that you've learned that has proven significant in your career?

I think it's important to raise your hand sometimes. Maybe you have too much work piling up, or you have a deadline you won't be able to meet due to unforeseen circumstances.

For example, something might happen at work that sets you back a couple of days. In these situations, I think it's okay to say, "Hey, I know I have this deadline, but I need some help."

If you have a valid reason, there's no problem with asking for assistance. I've done it a few times, and my boss appreciated me letting them know early.

It's better to communicate ahead of time rather than waiting until the night before your deadline, when it's too late to do anything about it. So, planning ahead and knowing what you can accomplish within the given time is key.

Don't be afraid to speak up and ask for help when you need it.
