How would you describe people who typically thrive in this industry?

They have to be very resilient and hardworking. Working in a nursing home isn't easy, as residents can sometimes have behavioral issues. They might be aggressive or demanding.

Some residents try to abuse narcotics, asking for more Vicodin or other prescriptions they shouldn't be given. They may also lie or make false allegations.

For example, one of my administrators was recently suspended due to a false allegation. If there's a report of neglect or abuse, we must suspend the administrator and investigate thoroughly to ensure it's cleared. That's probably the best answer I can give.
