What skills are most important for a job like yours?

I would say number one is grit. That's definitely a big trait in a lot of folks in sales. Grit is basically having the desire, no matter what, to get the job done.

So, no matter how many times you've been told no or how many times an opportunity hasn't worked out, it's a lot of persistence and grit. I think it's just sort of a straight for a lot of folks in the role.

Another one, I would say, is just flat-out work ethic. I think for a lot of folks in sales, it can be challenging at times. What carries a lot of people over the finish line is having that extra gear where they can rely on their work ethic to get them through.

I know for myself, that's been a big focus for my career. It's just having that, no matter what, whether I'm new to the company or have been there for a while, just having that extra gear there to push and go a little bit further. It definitely helped out.

And then, lastly, I would just say just having tenacious energy every day. The job can get a little tedious here and there, but if you can have that extra drive, that extra pump in your step, it definitely helps out along the way. So, those three things probably helped me in the role.
