How College Helped a Provider Growth Associate at Headway Succeed
Dylan's success stemmed from actively engaging in "immersing myself into the school," particularly communication-focused coursework and networking with professors and teaching assistants. This proactive approach, coupled with securing "a couple internships," provided valuable experience and significantly aided Dylan's transition into their post-graduate role.

What did you do in undergrad to set you up for success in your career?
I would say that for me, it was about immersing myself into the school and what was offered. I definitely wanted to immerse myself as much as I could with my classes, specifically in communication.
This included interacting with professors and other students. It worked in parallel with networking, like getting to know the teachers, professors, and TAs.
Having that as my network helped me leverage internships. Internships were also very helpful.
When I was back home, both my sophomore and junior year, I had two internships that were definitely helpful for that first role. It was nice to know that going into my first role out of school, I had some experience on my resume I could talk about.
So, when it came down to networking and getting those couple of internships, it definitely helped me set up for post-graduation.
